The walleye fishing was very good over the last couple of days on Cass. Finally the wind blew out of the same direction for more than a day and the fish showed up in big numbers on some of the mid-lake structure. It is amazing how many walleyes will stack up, when we get some consistent weather patterns. It also amazes me how so many fish can show up on a particular spot with the right conditions and then just vanish when the wind switches. All I know is there are a lot of walleyes cruising around Cass Lake and if you are on the right spot at the right time there is some awesome walleye fishing to be had.
